Cheering on your favorite team from the sofa is a fall weather tradition, and so are the snacks that go along with it. But instead of the typical fried wings, greasy potato chips, and sugary sodas, try having healthier game days this season. Making chili with ground turkey instead of beef can cut fat in half, and scooping it out into cups instead of large bowls can help keep portion sizes down. Swapping out cheese dips and chips for hummus and veggie sticks can add in lots of protein and healthy fats. Finally, nixing store bought ranch dressing and replacing it with a healthier homemade version can significantly cut back calories.
