Beautifully You – Dr. Chad Deal

Southern Surgical Arts

Providing
Passion-Fueled Results

As a child, Dr. Chad Deal watched as his mom put in the hard work and effort to obtain her degree in nursing. Inspired by her perseverance, Dr. Deal set his sights on helping others, just as she had, and pursued a degree in the medical field. In his current role as a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Deal strives to inspire others and wants his clients to feel comfortable asking for what they want. “I want my clients to have the courage to be honest and open about their desires and fears,” he says. “Talking openly about these things will make sure we are approaching the procedure in the most logical and safe way.”

Dr. Deal was nothing short of extraordinary. From his facility and staff to my seamless recovery process, everything was perfect."

1. What influenced you to pursue your career?

My family grew up in poverty and was raised by a single mom. My mom was a great mentor, and she climbed the ladder in her career over time, ultimately achieving a PhD in nursing and a master’s in business. This left me with a desire to be very successful, and I’ve always had a passion for surgery and the arts.

2. What's the key to making a great first impression?

Getting to know your client and who they are. Before you think like a doctor, think like a friend.

3. How do you develop a plan for each client?

I listen to the client’s wants and desires and determine the most logical and safe way to make it happen for them. Sometimes adjustments need to be made or the procedure needs to be done in stages.

4. What is your philosophy when it comes to the care of your clients?

It is to get real-world results consistently. Never look at the client as a procedure, and always pay attention to what they really want and their life goals. It’s not about performing a procedure; it’s about providing a result.

5. What’s the most rewarding part of your profession?

We really are changing lives and giving our clients a different outlook on not only the world but themselves, which is 10 times more important.
