Meet Our Caregivers – Emily Monnette, FNP-BC

Erlanger Primary Care - NorthShore

Addressing a Host
of Healthcare Needs

Nursing has always felt like a calling to Emily Monnette. But after serving as a nurse for several years, Monnette realized she wanted to offer her patients more in-depth and comprehensive care. She explains, “I went back to school to become a nurse practitioner because I wanted to help patients manage their chronic conditions to help keep them out of the hospital. I’ve now been a nurse practitioner for five years, and I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.” At Erlanger Primary Care’s Northshore location, Monnette is able to address a range of health conditions, from treating musculoskeletal injuries and acute illnesses to performing dermatology procedures, administering immunizations, and more. It’s the diversity of the job, plus the relationships she forms with her patients, that she enjoys most.

I love when patients have good results and improved quality of life."
