Meet Our Caregivers: Christen Russell, RN

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga, Shallowford

Connection & Compassion

Growing up, Christen Russell saw firsthand the impact of caring for people. “When I was a kid, I used to go to work with my mom, who was a CNA,” she shares. “I wanted to become a nurse once I noticed how rewarded my mom felt helping people.” Now, Russell has been a geriatrics nurse for 12 years. She recently obtained her registered nurse license and currently works as a nurse at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga, Shallowford, where she delivers thoughtful and compassionate care to residents.

I believe that truly effective care goes far beyond just treating an illness or managing a physical symptom.”
