A Personalized Approach
While working as a nurse, Kayla Peppers became drawn to the aesthetics industry, which combined her medical background with the opportunity to be creative and build lasting relationships with patients. She has specialized in aesthetic medicine since 2017, and joined Center Medspa in July of 2026 as an aesthetic nurse injector. “I love caring for people and helping them feel their best,” she shares. “I want patients to feel heard, educated, and confident in their decisions.” Peppers is currently pursuing additional aesthetics and anatomy education, along with a Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner, hoping to expand her level of care for patients. 1. What does your day-to-day look like?
My days include consultations, injectable treatments, skin regenerative treatments, follow-ups, and a lot of education so patients understand their options and feel comfortable with their treatment plan.
2. How do you develop a plan for each client?
I start with a conversation before I ever recommend a treatment.
I want to understand what the patient sees, what bothers them, and what their long-term goals are. Then I assess their anatomy and create a personalized plan that prioritizes natural, balanced results rather than chasing individual lines or features.
3. What’s the key to making a great first impression?
Making someone feel comfortable and genuinely heard. Aesthetic treatments can feel very personal, so I think trust begins with listening, being honest about expectations, and creating an environment where patients never feel judged or pressured.
4. What is your philosophy when it comes to the care of your clients?
Aesthetic care should never feel like a sales pitch. I want my patients to feel heard, educated, and confident in their decisions, even if that means recommending less treatment or no treatment at all. My goal is always to enhance what is already there while keeping results natural and true to the individual.
5. What’s the most rewarding part of your profession?
The most rewarding part is seeing the shift in someone’s confidence when they love their result. Watching someone look in the mirror and feel like themselves again is incredibly rewarding.
