Nailed It!

Have you ever been embarrassed to shake hands or show off your newest accessories because you’ve been gnawing your nails? If your fingertips need some extra love, try these natural oils for healthy nails worth waving!

Olive Oil

One of the best utility moisturizers around, olive oil works wonders for your nails. Penetrating the skin and nail bed, olive oil soaks your cuticles, nail follicles, and nail bed in moisturizing, healthy fats.

Avocado Oil

Much like olive oil, avocado oil also moisturizes with healthy fats, including the very beneficial omega-9 fatty acid called oleic acid.

Argan Oil

In argan oil, moisturizing healthy fats combine with antioxidants to fight the effects of aging. Many scientists claim that argan oil boosts collagen production as well, so go ahead–rub it in!

Flaxseed Oil

This useful oil contains essential fatty acids too, but it also boasts small doses of several minerals and nutrients.  These nutrients, including calcium and vitamins E and K, promote faster nail growth and repair.

Biotin Oil

A water-soluble B vitamin, biotin is essential to the production of keratin, the protein from which nails are mostly composed.

Vitamin E Oil

Vitamin E hydrates, fights damaging free radicals, and helps reduce inflammation, making it a great “heavy duty” nail nourisher. Just be prepared for application – the oil can be very thick and sticky, so apply at night!

Rub any of these oils into your cuticles and nail beds each night before bed, or even warm a small amount to just above body temperature and soak your nails for 10 minutes to achieve maximum results!
